ShortCircuit was founded by Sonic Fleming, a short film programmer helping up-and-coming filmmakers find their footing within the festival world.

After working with young creatives for years, he realized that the biggest industry black hole amongst rising filmmakers is the festival circuit, despite it being one of the most crucial aspects of the industry.

ShortCircuit takes this burden off of the filmmakers to allow them to focus on creating their best work, and avoids the spray-and-pray method used by the large majority of amateur filmmakers, saving time and money.

ShortCircuit’s services include detailed festival submission plans, premiere status management, handling of FilmFreeway submissions, waiver requests, cover letter editing, full festival communication, and more.
